Lewis Direct Mail employs around 40 people in six departments,
account management, data processing,
letter shop, warehouse and despatch, and
overseas consolidation. We have data-prep operatives, laser print room people, production and sorting operatives and warehousing staff. Each department has a manager or supervisor to oversee its smooth running and to provide cover if anyone is on holiday or absent.
Our account managers are the key point of contact with you the client. There is nothing more frustrating than being passed from person to person when you get in touch, so we appoint one person to be your main port of call. It means you always talk to a familiar voice.
In an industry such as ours, there is always a turnover of staff, however many of our folk have been here a long time. Several account managers have been here five years, a production manager has been here more than ten years, and we have some operatives still here after 20 years. Our key people are managers from within the industry.
